In the 7th minute, Cole Maier had the first opportunity for Nuremberg, but the shot was confidently parried by Eisbären goalie Jake Hildebrand. A successful comeback?

Despite a passionate final offensive and some good opportunities, Nuremberg was unable to equalize.
