After the incident, the perpetrator set off and fled towards Karlsplatz subway station. The Munich criminal police have started investigating and are asking for information. Witnesses can contact the Munich Police Headquarters, Commissariat 24, on Tel. 089 2910-0. Bayern.de reports on the incident.

Sad news from Feldmoching

On August 9th, the police were called upon again when the rescue workers were informed about two unconscious people in an allotment on Lerchenauer Strasse. When the fire brigade arrived, it was discovered that gas had leaked from the basement of a gazebo where a generator had previously been operated. The victims were two men aged 41 and 50, both from Munich. While the 41-year-old died in hospital on the same day, his 50-year-old friend succumbed to his injuries on August 10th. Four other people suffered minor intoxications but were able to be treated on site. The police are concerned about safety and are clarifying the circumstances of the incident, which fortunately does not pose a danger to the general population. Bayern.de also reported on this.

At the same time, there was a traffic accident in Moosach on August 8th, in which a 37-year-old car driver from Baden-Württemberg collided with a bus. The bus driver initiated braking at the last moment to avoid a collision, but this was not enough to prevent it. Six passengers on the bus had to be treated for minor injuries. It is reported that the injured came from Munich and Baden-Württemberg. Fortunately, there was no damage to the vehicles and traffic was not affected during the accident investigation.
