Shaping the future: Forum FIT 2025 brings Miesbach’s heads together!
On November 13, 2025, the Forum.Innovation.Transformation (FIT) 2025 event took place in Tegernsee, where more than 400 people came together to discuss the future of the Miesbach district. Under the motto "Solutions for the future. Today." The aim was to develop concrete steps and new paths for companies and the region. The Kreissparkasse Miesbach-Tegernsee, which was only founded in 2019, was the organizer and thus brought a breath of fresh air into the community.
The social psychologist Harald Welzer, director of the FUTURZWEI Foundation, opened the event and spoke about the importance of courage, attention and the ability to discuss in a changing environment. Supported by transformation consultant Kirsten Schrick, who focused on self-reflection in times of change, the need for emotional conviction for transformation was immediately emphasized by Jürgen Weimann.
Diverse thematic rooms and young voices
The participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas in six interactive themed rooms. The focus here was on aspects such as changes in the economy, volunteer work and social interaction. There were special discussion rooms for the younger generations in which incentives were discussed so that they could stay in the district and play an active role.
The topic of volunteering was also strongly represented, with the social role and future viability of this commitment being discussed. Experts such as Drees & Sommer and Eckpfeiler GmbH contributed perspectives on climate-resilient living spaces - a topic that concerns us all. There was also support in areas such as circular economy, energy renovation and financial self-determination.
Focus on health and digitalization
Another exciting point was the topic of health, with a particular focus on longevity, mental health and resilience. This shows how important it is to promote a healthy lifestyle in order to shape the future with a clear conscience. Digitalization also played a central role, emphasizing how AI projects can strengthen small and medium-sized businesses and ensure sustainable progress.
At the end of the day, Martin Mihalovits concluded: “Solutions arise from taking responsibility in the region.” It turns out that events like FIT 2025 are an essential part of the social discussion. They promote exchange between generations and help to form networks that are essential for shaping the future.
