Kreisjugendring Miesbach: New team starts optimistically!
After turbulent times, the district youth ring Miesbach (KJR) draws new courage: A fresh, motivated board has taken on the tasks and would like to bloom the youth work in the district again. After the resignation of the entire board in January 2024, apart from assessor Jürgen Batek, new course has now been set. At that time, disputes with the district office via the budget led to a crisis situation in which the planned budget was reduced from 450,000 euros to just 350,000 euros, which significantly restricted the association's ability to act. Fortunately, the Bavarian youth ring was able to ensure the first negotiations in order to secure youth work in the long term, such as Merkur reported.
The new board consists of Jürgen Batek as chairman, Marion Schönsteiner as deputy as well as Julian Dürr, Helge Hermann, Umut Devici, Ronja Yegül and managing director Alexander Moosmann. The latter now takes over the tasks of the managing director full -time after they were previously done on a voluntary basis. This laid the basis to redesign all structures and processes of the KJR. The new team receives valuable support under the experienced social worker Franz Schnitzlbaumer.
creative initiatives for the youth
In order to better understand the needs of youth in the communities, young citizens' meetings are also planned in which Moosmann participates. In addition, the KJR has already implemented the first actions: a party speed dating and the long night of democracy have already made it clear that the commitment to the youth is not an empty promise. The project manager Meike Enzenauer takes care of the planning of future events and submitting funding applications. These positive steps are intended to regain the trust of the communities and to build up sustainable youth work.
The Planetx youth center in Tegernsee, which is currently in the reversal, is also a special challenge. It is of great importance to find solutions here in order to continue to offer young people attractive offers.
The importance of the mergers
The changes in the KJR are part of a larger framework in which youth -political interests are represented. According to the Bavarian Youth Ring not only 96 city and district youth rings in Bavaria, but also seven district youth rings that organize themselves democratically. These bodies decide on basic youth work guidelines and are crucial for representing the interests of young people.
The KJR Miesbach is now well positioned to accept the challenges of the future. The employees are determined to find long -term solutions, to record the needs of young people and to offer them attractive perspectives.
