A lot is happening in the Unterallgäu region and the city of Memmingen! Anyone interested in the valuable task of working as a childminder now has the opportunity to take part in a new qualification course. From February 28, 2026, the Catholic Youth Welfare (KJF) will be offering a comprehensive training course that is becoming increasingly important these days. Because the demand for qualified day care workers is growing noticeably, according to memmingen.de.

The upcoming course lasts 160 hours and is aimed at anyone interested in the Unterallgäu district and the city of Memmingen. Not only are the technical requirements needed to apply for a nursing license created here, but practical skills are also taught. The courses mainly take place on Saturdays and Wednesday evenings, with the course fee being 150 euros. The importance of day care

The role of childminders is becoming more and more valued in society. They not only support children in their development, but also promote individual learning and help them discover the world. A family atmosphere and small groups with permanent caregivers are particularly in demand, according to fruehe-Chances.de. Anyone who orients themselves in this direction should have a good dose of empathy, reliability and resilience.

Care can take place either in your own household, in your parents' home or in rented premises, provided the environment is suitable for children. So if you have a good knack for working with children and want to get involved in a meaningful field, this qualification course could be just the thing for you!

Take the opportunity to become part of an important initiative that provides great support for both the little ones and the parents!
