Chairman Sven Althaus proudly reported about 70 members in the fraternity, many new faces were welcomed this year.

In the evening, DJ Bigfoot ended the day with a disco evening - a highlight for all dance fans and party lovers.
But the Pentecost market has a long history that goes back to the 1950s. Its origins are unclear, but the 1894 as an important part of it. Many traditions that are practiced here today have their origin in the past of the fraternity, which also came up with a fixed boys' book at the end of the 19th century. Another integral part of the Pentecost festival is the egg market on Whit Monday. This year, an incredible 1100 eggs were collected, 700 egg shells were used to make a unique egg flag. The eggs were conscientiously raised on a cord in a certain order, while the Sachsenberger all came together to enjoy the eggs collected in the garden of Sven Althaus. This social gathering donated a feeling of the community and sharing, which is of great importance for the Sachsenberger.
Lisa Backhaus, the mayor, praised the support of the population at the events. This solidarity and cohesion in the community are that make the Pentecost market a special event in Sachsenberg.
