A serious traffic accident rocked the B472 near Ingenried on Friday evening. A 64-year-old man from the Landsberg am Lech district drove his Porsche into an intersection at around 5:30 p.m. without braking and collided with the car of a 33-year-old from the Altlandkreis. Both vehicles skidded and finally stopped just a few meters from the scene of the accident. Fortunately, the drivers only sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital. An 87-year-old driver from Steingaden overlooked a car with the right of way that was driven by a 59-year-old woman from Rhineland-Palatinate. In this collision, the 87-year-old, his passenger and the driver also suffered minor injuries and had to be taken to hospitals. The material damage in this case amounted to around 21,000 euros.
