Feel -good day for women: reduce stress and strengthen health!
In Germany, many women experience a high “mental load” that results from the numerous commitments in family, household and work. According to a survey of 2022, around 50 % of women stated that they were stressed and psychological, while it was only 37 % in men. This stress can lead to mental and physical complaints considerably. Against this background, the importance of small breaks for your own well -being becomes increasingly clear. The Landkreis-Kronach has therefore teamed up with the AOK Bayern to organize a well-being day for health promotion for women.
The event will take place on November 15, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Stockheim pension and promises a varied program. There will be the possibility to learn more about resilience, cycle food, Qigong, aromatherapy, power punch and acupressure. In addition to informative lectures, workshops are also offered that should promote good hands for your own well -being. Healthy snacks and an espresso bar ensure a little refreshment during the lunch break. There is also the opportunity to network with other women and for mindfulness experience with VR glasses.
The mental load: a big topic
What exactly is this "mental load"? The "Equal Care Day" initiative defines it as the invisible responsibility for organizing family and household as well as coordinating in professional contexts. According to ard alpha, women and mothers take over most of this mental load, which leads to a high individual load. They are often responsible for everyday tasks such as planning meals, organizing birthday parties or coordinating doctor's appointments for the children. Men often see mental stress as fair, while women find this burden to be disproportionately high.
In addition, a study by the mothers recovery work from 2022 shows how stressful this constant responsibility can be, since it often leads to psychological problems such as exhaustion and sleep disorders. The gender Care GAP in Germany is over 50 %, which means that women do an average of 52.4 % more unpaid care work than men. The causes are diverse and range from traditional role attributions to the gender pay gap to a lack of childcare options.
Invitation to participate
The feel -good day offers women the opportunity to deal with these challenges and deal better with suitable strategies. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required due to the limited number of participants. Interested parties can register via the website of the Landkreis-Kronach or using QR-Code. Comfortable, sporty clothing for the workshops is recommended.
At a time when it is important to pay attention to your own health, the feel -good day in Stockheim is an excellent opportunity to strengthen personal resilience and promote your own well -being. Take the chance and recharge your batteries for everyday life!
