Sustainability is trending

A rapidly growing trend in wedding planning is sustainability. By 2026, expect eco-friendly weddings to become the norm. Couples are placing increasing value on regional and seasonal catering concepts, as well as on environmentally friendly decoration and rental furniture. This reflects that green weddings are not only aesthetically pleasing but also designed responsibly. Loud Simply Wedding Modern couples rely on second-hand bridal fashion and mix-and-match styles to make their special day individual and sustainable.

The trend colors for 2026 are also exciting: bold combinations of sage green, sand, terracotta and accents in midnight blue or burgundy tones set new accents in wedding design. During the trade fair, visitors were able to experience these color worlds up close in the exhibition stands.

Intimacy instead of mass celebration

Another interesting phenomenon are the so-called micro weddings, in which couples opt for smaller celebrations with 20 to 50 guests. This trend has a number of advantages: Every couple can budget more for each guest and invest in exclusive locations, which usually results in a more personal experience and more intense emotions. Simply Wedding sums up this motto aptly: quality instead of quantity.

For many couples, the wedding is no longer just a rigid procedure, but an experience. Elements like live music, open kitchens and interactive guest activities ensure memories are created that last far beyond the celebration.

The “We Dare Us” trade fair at Rosenberg Fortress once again showed that a breath of fresh air is blowing in the wedding scene. With new ideas and a clear focus on individuality and sustainability, weddings in 2026 will be both stylish and environmentally conscious.
