Kaufbeuren is rolling again: Buron Blade Night for children in need!

On Saturday, September 20th, Kaufbeuren will once again be the meeting place for sports enthusiasts when the Buron Blade Night takes place. This event, which appeals to both inline skaters and cyclists, not only promises exercise and fun, but also sets an example for a good cause. Under the motto “Exercise and fun for a good cause”, the Hockey for Hope association, in collaboration with the Rotary Club Kaufbeuren-Ostallgäu, is organizing this special evening, which starts at 7 p.m. at the dance festival square.

The event invites everyone – both beginners and professionals. The route, about seven kilometers long, leads via Buronstrasse and Mindelheimer Strasse, Josef-Landes-Strasse, Augsburger Strasse and Alte Post- and Neugablonzer Strasse back to the Tätzelfestplatz. Participation is free, but donations are welcome, with a recommendation of 10 euros per adult and 5 euros per child. The funds collected benefit children and young people in need. Last year, an impressive 1,640 euros were raised, which impressively demonstrated the community's commitment.

Involve companies directly

The Buron Blade Night also offers companies the opportunity to present themselves and collect for their employees. This not only brings with it a competitive spirit, but also promotes cohesion in society. It is important for all participants to prepare well - protective equipment such as a helmet and hand, elbow and knee pads are strongly recommended. Providing options for returning via the cycle path when you are exhausted also ensures additional safety.

An after-skate party at the Tätzelfestplatz will round off the evening. From 5:30 p.m., club representatives have the opportunity to present their organizations and talk to participants.

Pizzeria as a community partner

An important part of the event is supporting local businesses, such as Tramonto’s Pizza. This family-owned pizzeria is dedicated to the mission of providing good, handmade food that brings people together. The variety of pizzas and other Italian specialties make it a popular place for all athletes and families. With fresh ingredients and homemade dough, Tramonto’s Pizza places great emphasis on quality, which is perfect for a social event like Buron Blade Night.
