When summer is in full swing, that only means one thing for wine lovers in Fürth: the 22nd wine festival on Gustavstrasse is just around the corner! From Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th July, the city invites all gourmets and connoisseurs to spend a wonderful time full of taste and music. Fuerth.de reports that this year's motto is “Enjoy, meet, toast” and the festival will feature a variety of fine wines from all over the world as well as refreshing champagne and delicious mixed drinks.
Nine dedicated innkeepers present lovingly decorated wine arbors that invite you to socialize. In addition to wine, there are also culinary delicacies that make the festival an experience for all the senses. Fuerth.de emphasizes that musical performances will ensure a good atmosphere on every holiday. Visitors can look forward to a varied program. On Thursday, Klaus Brandl and Curley Kauper entertain with bluesy sounds, while on Friday the Ensemble Orchestra Grandessa treats guests to a mixture of world music, jazz, gypsy and klezmer.
Musical highlights and after-show party
Saturday brings the Wassabi Brothers, who will put you in a good mood with pop hits, and on Sunday the Franconian street musicians will play folk songs and dance music. If you haven't had enough after the official celebrations, you can attend the after-show party at "Tiekings" from 10 p.m. and turn night into day.
Visitors are warmly welcomed on all four days from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and on Friday and Saturday even until 10:30 p.m. At the wine arbors of the participating restaurants such as Bar, Café Michels, Cheers and many others, everyone will find something to their taste to fully enjoy the warm July days.
