Folk festival in Grafenau: The first barrel of beer is waiting for you!

Things are really happening in Grafenau! Next Thursday, Corpus Christi, the eagerly awaited Zamsitz’n begins. The Bucher brewery has already put in the work and reserved the first barrel of Volksfest beer for the guests. From 6 p.m., visitors can look forward to a closed city center area that offers a festive atmosphere and lots of delicacies. The traditional beer tasting in particular, which is organized by the popular festival hosts Karl Mayer and Matthias Blöchinger as well as Bräu Uli Wiedemann, promises a very special experience.

Your physical well-being is taken care of, but the festival has even more to offer. From July 4th, the festival site in Galgenau will be the venue for a colorful program. Here, guests can look forward to exciting attractions and high-quality content. In addition to the culinary highlights, the event will also be really exciting for the little festival visitors. There will be an exercise course by Sankan, a creative workshop by Sabine Moore and a face painting station. The offering is diverse and has something to offer for every age group.

Musical entertainment and raffle

Of course, the right music shouldn't be missing! The party band “Picantos” will provide the musical accompaniment and will create a good atmosphere with their rousing sounds. Another highlight is the tombola, which is organized by the Grafenau Advertising Association and where visitors can try their luck. The prizes are more than tempting and include:
