Michael Eberwein died on Sunday night, shortly after his 62nd birthday. The former boss of the Dellnhauser musicians and prominent figure of Bavarian folk music leaves a big gap in the music scene and his home community. After a long, serious illness, Eberwein, who played a key role in the company for over 40 years, died Folk music played and received numerous awards for it.
Michael Eberwein, born in Dellnhausen near Au in 1962, took over management of the company in 1990 Dellnhauser musicians, a music group that had already been founded by his father. Although the event has been canceled for 2025, it remains a central part of cultural life in the region.

Michael Eberwein leaves behind his wife Gerti and two sons, Michael and Maximilian, as well as a grieving fan base. His sudden death deeply affected not only his family, but also the entire folk music community. The Dellnhauser musicians have already announced that they will keep a memory of him during their future performances and thus keep his musical legacy alive.
