The 15th Africa Festival in Freising, which took place on June 20, 2025 in the Luitpoldanlage, thrilled visitors with a colorful program focused on cultural exchange and integration. The organizers, Deo Amados and Ali Djobo Agoro from the Togolese Association in Freising, offered a festival that not only brought together delicious African specialties, but also a variety of musical performances and intercultural activities. The program for Saturday was varied: it started at 11 a.m. with the market opening and the “Afrolink Cup”, followed by performances by the drum group Otumfuo from Ghana and the Brazilian samba group Todentro. At 9 p.m., the Tanzanian band “Abeneko” brought a grand conclusion to the first day of the festival. Sunday also promised exciting performances with a mix of musical and sporting highlights, including a tribute to the players in the football tournament.
