The Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) draws a quiet balance with a total of 284 requests for help until Monday and 47 transports to hospitals. This shows that the feast, on the whole, went without major incidents. The police also report a normal course with a moderate increase in operations in the evening. The fire brigade had to provide minor technical assistance, but there were no larger missions. The safety of women is also taken seriously, which is underlined by the positive response to the new Safe Space for girls and women, which serves to support various concerns.

The Erlangen Bergkirchweih has developed into an economically important event despite the rain shower. The city draws a consistently positive balance, and not only with regard to the rainy days. According to reports, the festival has been able to record records in the number of visitors in recent years, although the weather certainly had an impact on visitor frequency this year. A quarter of the reported violations during last year's event occurred on the festival area, the rest were created by celebrating and other parallel events. Compared to previous years, however, a decrease in crimes can be recorded, which gives the responsible hope for the term of the current Bergkirchweih.

As part of the festival, reference was also made to garbage management, which, according to Konrad Beugel, still has to be optimized, because here there is "air up". While the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) provided a total of around 600 patients, the ASB reported fewer missions, which indicates largely peaceful coexistence. Compared to reduced alcoholized patients, a gratifying sign is that visitors behave well. An additional ambulance was also installed for women, which was present from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. and provided additional security.

The positive course of the festival, which continues on June 12th with the meeting day for families and on June 15 with a service, shows that Erlangen Bergkirchweih is far more than just a folk festival. Mayor Janik thanks all helpers and residents for their support and emphasizes the great atmosphere. "The atmosphere here is unique and many guests like to drink a beer and enjoy the good mood of the people," explains a festival visit.

In addition, the role of the women's emergency call was praised in the establishment and care of the Safe Spaces. These feedback show that the focus is on the efforts of security and comfort for all visitors. While the festival continues until June 16, the organizers remain optimistic that the weather will get better and that visitors will get their money's worth. The next Erlangen Bergkirchweih is already scheduled for the period from June 5th to 16th, 2025, which many Erlangen and guests certainly pleased.
