Big car exhibition in Erding: New models and free entries!
Yesterday the starting signal was fired for the unique Erding Automobile Exhibition (AAE), which has been known as the largest car exhibition in Upper Bavaria since 1971. The venue, the Volksfestplatz in Erding, shone in full sun when the opening speech began at 10 a.m. High-ranking speakers such as District Administrator Martin Bayerstorfer, Mayor Max Gotz, Leonhard Gramsamer from the Gramsamer car dealership and Paul Ampletzer from Erdinger Anzeiger introduced the numerous visitors to the innovations in the automotive industry. Over 25 exhibitors, including 16 car dealers, present their latest models and innovative technologies.
The exhibition is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and, thanks to free parking and free entry, offers the ideal opportunity to take a long look around. The AAE not only promises a wide range of new vehicles, but also expert advice to help you make your purchase decision. A true festival for automobiles and those interested!
Premieres and novelties
The Gramsamer car dealership is particularly in the spotlight, presenting several exciting models. Among other things, the new Renault Rafale SUV coupé will be presented, which impresses with its fresh design and sporty features. The name “Rafale”, which means “gust” or “gust of wind” in German, has its origins in Renault’s aviation history and reflects the dynamic characteristics of the vehicle.
The Renault Rafale is available in two drive variants: an E-Tech hybrid with 200 hp and the powerful E-Tech 4×4 with 300 hp, which is considered the most powerful Renault in the portfolio. The latter is equipped with a new electric motor on the rear axle and permanent all-wheel drive, ensuring outstanding performance on the road. The top version in the “Atelier Alpine Finish” also impresses with a specially tuned chassis and advanced controls.
Another highlight is the nostalgic Renault 5 E-Tech Electric, which is celebrated as a new edition of the famous original Renault 5 from 1972. This electrically powered classic offers a modern design, a flat floor, a long wheelbase of 2.54 meters and a trunk volume of 326 liters. With a weight of less than 1,500 kg and engines in three power levels (110, 90 and 70 kW), it achieves a range of up to 400 km thanks to a 52 kWh battery. It is also capable of pulling a 500 kilo trailer.
Efficient drive solutions
The third generation of the Dacia Duster also has its fans in mind. It is now offered with hybrid power, which is a real win for many buyers. The Duster Hybrid 140 combines a 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with 94 hp and two electric motors (36 kW/49 hp), while the mild-hybrid Duster TCe 130 includes a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 131 hp and 48-volt starter generator. Thanks to these technologies, vehicles benefit from reduced consumption and lower emissions.
The consumption and emission values of the models presented are also remarkable:
| Model | consumption | CO2 emissions |
|---|---|---|
| Renault Rafale E-Tech Full Hybrid 200 | 4.7L/100km | 106g/km |
| Renault 5 E-Tech Electric | 15.2 kWh/100 km | 0g/km |
| Dacia Duster | 7.8-4.8L/100km | 154-125g/km |
Overall, the Erding Automobile Exhibition impressively shows how the industry relies on innovative drive solutions and designs to fulfill customers' wishes. So if you're looking for the perfect vehicle or just want to take a look at the latest developments, you shouldn't miss this year's exhibition.
