A very special weekend is imminent! On Saturday and Sunday, June 14th and 15th, the Aviation Festival in Eichstätt opens its doors, and for over 40 years during the Pentecost holidays. This year there will be a lot of attractions for all aviation enthusiasts. The Donaukurier reports that the event starts on Saturday at 12 noon with the exciting motto "Piste Frei".

There is an extensive program for visitors. On Saturday it starts at noon with a firm operation, where everyone can fortify themselves with tasty food and drinks. Flight and model flight demonstrations, which include both sailing and engine art flights, captivate the audience. Special highlights are the opportunity for visitors to get into the cockpit themselves and sniff a bit of altitude air.

Sunday begins with a solemn mountain fair at 10 a.m. in the aircraft hall, followed by a traditional aircraft blessing. Then it continues with the festival from 11 a.m., accompanied by a morning pint and musical framework through the Eichstätter Stadtkapelle. It becomes particularly exciting on Saturday evening when the Old Mill Valley Bigband ensures musical entertainment from 6 p.m.

For everyone who descends on adrenaline, special attractions such as air shows and parachute jumps are on the program. It remains exciting what the experienced pilots and young talents have to offer in the aviation festival!
