CSD Ebersberg 2025: Queere voices rise against hatred and prejudices!

in Ebersberg, where the colorful and diverse life keeps its way into, the Christopher Street Day (CSD) continues in 2025. The first CSD took place in 2024 and was already able to attract around 250 visitors. Organized by a committed queer community, the event was under the motto "Stadt - Land - Queer". The preparations for the event on July 19th are in full swing, such as Merkur reported.

The organizers Marla (18), Vanessa (19) and Leonie (20) are determined not to be intimidated despite the negative response on the Internet. The shitstorm, which accompanied the first event, unfortunately brought violent fantasies and other insults. The Munich public prosecutor's office therefore initiated investigations, but hired it because the comments were classified as too vague. The three women want to set a clear signal with the campaign: "There are also queer people in Ebersberg," they emphasize.

The organization team plans a varied program with drag artists, bands, a poetry slam and speeches that address political and social issues. A sultry demonstration will run through the streets of Ebersberg. The event is generously supported with around 6,000 euros from the district youth ring, which underlines the growing backing for the queer community in the region. n-AG emphasizes that the organizers also provide shuttle buses from the direction of the market to achieve even more people.

At Marienplatz, there will be information stands of various initiatives and associations. Culinary highlights and an evening event in the Ebersberger youth center AJZ complete the program and invite you to network. In addition, the organization team plans to form into an association in the near future to strengthen the structure and intensify the connection to other CSDs, which could give the whole event a longer perspective.

As CSD Germany , in 2023 over 140 CSD events took place throughout Germany that mobilized to the four million people. The greatest participation was in cities like Cologne and Berlin.
