Complete closure of ST 2328: construction work between Mengkofen and Hofdorf!

The traffic situation in the region will change significantly from July 2nd, as the Landshut State Building Authority begins extensive ceiling construction and expansion work on State Road 2328 between Mengkofen and Hofdorf. The Fahrner construction company has taken over the work and plans to completely close the road during the first two construction phases. This of course has an impact on traffic flow, because how Dingolfing Landau reported, drivers must expect detours.

From Süßkofen, regional traffic is routed to Neuhofen via the DGF 42 and SR 53. From Neuhofen we continue via SR 55 and DGF 41 to Martinsbuch. The way back is via the St 2111 to Mengkofen and back. However, residents in the construction area can still pass through the construction site, but should exercise particular caution when doing so, as the construction site conditions are associated with typical restrictions.

Be careful in the construction site area

Residents are asked to exercise particular caution in the construction site area. Interestingly, the top asphalt decks in the Hofdorf through town and between the end of Hofdorf and just before Süßkofen are affected, although no further work will be required here for the time being. Despite the accompanying measures, residents can drive over the milled road surface, but should also pay attention to driving carefully.

For anyone who is already planning their route, we recommend taking a look at ADAC Maps, where current traffic flows and short-term disruptions are displayed. This platform also provides a traffic forecast for future departure dates and can provide helpful information about current and planned construction sites and hazards along the route.

Current traffic situation

For all road users who want to be informed about the planned diversions, it is also advisable to regularly provide information about the traffic situation verkehrslage.de to consult. Current dangers and disruptions at many German traffic junctions are stated there. This way you are always up to date and can consider alternatives in good time to avoid long waiting times.

The construction work should be carried out carefully in order to keep the restrictions for residents and road users as low as possible. Although it may be challenging, there are also solutions, such as the diversion routes to avoid the construction site. With a little patience and caution, it is possible to continue to manage everyday life in the region during this construction period.
