On Wednesday afternoon, June 18, 2025, a tragic event occurred in the municipal area of ​​Siegsdorf: Passers-by discovered a lifeless 52-year-old cyclist on a bike path between Eisen doctor and Maria Eck. Despite bravely first aid measures by the pre-existing witnesses and attempts to resuscitate through the emergency doctor, all help came too late-the man from Baden-Württemberg had already died.

The Traunstein police inspection has now taken over the investigation and is urgently looking for witnesses who can contribute to the course of the accident.
