Feuer-Inferno in Hirschaid: Kripo is looking for witnesses for arson!

On the night of Friday, a devastating fire broke out in a train underpass in Hirschaid. At around 3:15 a.m., an attentive witness reported the fire in the pedestrian underpass of Heinrichstrasse. Around 20 firefighters were quickly on site and fought the flames that wood slats and pallets had set on fire. The property damage is estimated at around 25,000 euros.

The Bamberg criminal police have started the investigation and examines the suspicion of arson. The police ask the population for help: who saw suspicious people near Heinrichstrasse at the time of the crime, around 3 a.m. Information can be given on 0951/9129-491.
