Brazen robberies in the maypole park: Police are looking for witnesses!

A terrifying incident in the Maypaum Park in Weilheim: On Thursday afternoon, July 3, 2025, a 53-year-old man was snatched his wallet with his dog by a trio unknown perpetrator under the threat of violence. The attack occurred around 5 p.m. on Munich Strasse. Fortunately, the man was unharmed and immediately filed a complaint with the police.

The trio of perpetrators, all about 25 years old, fled in the north. The perpetrators were described as follows: perpetrator 1 is slim, approx. 175 cm tall, wears a brown hoodie and black sports shoes. Perpetrator 2 is strong, about 190 cm tall, wears a black hoodie and white sports shoes, while perpetrators 3 is also strong, about 185 cm tall and a white T-shirt and Bordeaux-colored shorts. The Weilheim criminal police have taken over the investigation and asks for information from the population, in particular witnesses, who have made suspicious observations.
