Shortly before 1 a.m. there was a violent argument between two men: a 38-year-old from Kulmbach brutally hit the face of a 43-year-old from Lichtenfels with a beer mug. The older one suffered painful cuts and had to be taken to a hospital, but fortunately his life was not in danger.

The Coburg public prosecutor is now investigating attempted manslaughter and has applied for an arrest warrant against the 38-year-old. An investigative judge at the Kronach district court issued the arrest warrant, and the alleged perpetrator was immediately admitted to a correctional facility. The excitement at the celebration has terrible consequences - an evening that should actually bring joy ended in a nightmare!
