On Tuesday evening (August 19th, 2025) there was a dramatic traffic accident on Gersthofer Straße! A 35-year-old driver crashed into the vehicle of a 63-year-old woman as she tried to brake at an intersection. At 6:15 p.m. the older driver braked to a standstill, which the young man apparently noticed too late. The impact caused injuries to two children who were sitting in the 35-year-old's car - fortunately only minor injuries!
Both vehicles are now completely wrecked and had to be towed away. The damage totals around 20,000 euros! The police have started an investigation and are now investigating the incident for negligent bodily harm against the person who caused the accident. Another exciting case on the streets where good and bad luck are close together!
