On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, there was a brazen theft in a drugstore on Bahnhofstrasse in the city center. A 25-year-old sneaked into the store, grabbed a cosmetic item and left without paying. When an attentive employee approached him, he made a daring attempt to escape and initially escaped undetected.
Despite an immediate search, the daredevil initially remained at large. But the police officers didn't give up and were finally able to identify the fleeing thief. Investigations are now underway for theft against the 25-year-old perpetrator, who put the security forces to a tough test.
