Representatives of the municipality of Ebermannsdorf, the construction company mih NET Amberg and Glasfaser Direkt GmbH were present at a small, solemn ceremony. In the coming months, there will be a lot of work on laying fiber optic routes, and the goal is ambitious: around 180 new connections are to be provided by the end of 2025. About two-thirds of this goes to fiber Direkt GmbH, which is driving the project forward on its own, while the rest is supported by funding from the Free State of Bavaria.
