New football hammer: A classes in the East district set for 2025/26!
In the East football district in Bavaria, the course for the 2025/26 season has been set. The division of the 134 A-class teams was recently decided, which clearly shows the structure of the leagues for the coming season. Three 14-a-side leagues and seven 13-a-side leagues are planned, which promises an exciting season. The teams from Passau have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in two different A classes. Particularly noteworthy: There are no relegated teams in the A-Class Passau, while there are three district class-relegated teams in the A-Class Regen and the A-Class Grafenau. Lots of anticipation for the new season
The new season will start on the weekend of the 26th/27th. Launched in July 2025. Preparations are in full swing and the BFV game managers are already hard at work organizing the new leagues. In the district league, 32 district league teams and 28 east district league teams are planned from the East football district, which will be divided into two seasons. 16 teams will compete in the district league and 14 teams in the district leagues.
The amateur footballers have to wait until the official start of the new season. The last playoff game of the current season took place on Sunday in Laberweinting between TSV Abensberg II and FC Wallersdorf, before everyone takes a well-deserved break.
