Further unpleasant figures come from horticulture and landscape maintenance, which account for around 20 percent of all accidents, while both forestry work and crop cultivation produce over 20 percent of deaths. This highlights the need to improve safety precautions in agriculture and raise awareness of the risks that are often taken for granted.
