In the community of Bad Birnbach, more precisely in Lengham, an unexpected fire and police operation caused a stir on Monday. A bull had escaped and taken off, leading to an hour-long search. In Pöllau, a bull that was wandering on a state road was shot by a hunter after injuring firefighters and damaging a patrol car. During the incident in Burgenland, the fire brigade and police were deployed with more than 25 men and five vehicles, which clearly shows that the situation in Lengham remained comparatively calm and manageable.
