Bad Neustadt's young swimming talent impresses at championships!

At this year's Lower Franconian Long Course Championships, which took place recently, the swimmers from SG Bad Neustadt showed outstanding performances. A seven-person team based on the competition from mainpost.de was at the start. The athletes took part in a total of 50 individual starts and two relays and achieved numerous personal best times as well as a number of podium places in the year group rankings.

Karlotta Hamm (born in 2013) was particularly impressive with a 5th place in the 50 m backstroke (0:42.26 min.) and a 3rd place in the 50 m freestyle (0:34.41 min.). Her performances in the 200 m freestyle and 100 m freestyle also confirmed her strong form. Oskar Dietz (born in 2016) swam his way into the hearts of the spectators with a first place in the 50 m breaststroke (0:51.13 mins). He also received two second places in the 50 m backstroke and 50 m freestyle as well as valuable experience over the longer distances.

The youngest show strong potential

Louan Herbert (2013) was also able to achieve rankings among the top ten of his year with an improved time in the 50 m backstroke (0:47.57) and 100 m backstroke (1:47.19). He also made people sit up and take notice with his progress in freestyle. Lenard Kabobel (2014) secured a class victory in the 50 m butterfly and also placed among the top three in the 400 m freestyle and 100 m backstroke.

Max Unjust (2010) shone in his starts in the 50 m butterfly (0:30.45) and was also able to impress in the 100 m freestyle. Danylo Kuzmenko (2012) celebrated vintage victories across several distances, particularly the 50m breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly. The experienced swimmer Alexander Schild (1986) also achieved an impressive four victories on sprint courses in the 35 age group, which proves his real triumph in this category.

Relay race with motivating team dynamics

The relay races in which the team also competed brought exciting results: the 4x50 m freestyle relay took 9th place, while the 4x50 m medley relay even achieved 8th place. The relays included talented swimmers such as Kabobel, Herbert, Dietz and Schild as well as Unjust and Kuzmenko. The strong team dynamics and high motivation contributed significantly to the remarkable achievements.

Despite the pressure of competition from sg-tve-tvk.de, the atmosphere in the pool was characterized by cohesion and joy in the competition. This competition was described as the highlight of the season, with the swimmers' successes fueling hope for positive developments in the future.

In conclusion, it remains to be said that the young swimmers from SG Bad Neustadt not only represented themselves well, but also their club and the region with their strong performances and personal best times. In view of these successes, we can look forward to the upcoming competitions!
