On October 24, 2025, a very special event will take place in the large meeting room of the Pfaffenhofen district office: the poetry slam with the title “Great Feelings”. This event, moderated by Pascal Simon, promises to be a highlight for all lovers of the spoken arts. From 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., artists from all over Germany will present their emotional contributions.
The concept of the evening is simple but exciting: each participant has around three minutes to captivate the audience with their texts. At the end of the spectacle, the audience can decide for themselves who should choose the finalists and ultimately the winner. This not only creates a special bond between the actors and the audience, but also ensures a lively atmosphere in which every voice counts.
An event with a background
The poetry slam takes place as part of Mental Health Week and is organized in cooperation with the health department, the adult education center and the Pfaffenhofen district library. The organizers have set themselves the goal of promoting awareness of mental health and raising awareness through creative forms of expression. “Big Feelings” is a perfect theme that addresses the diversity of human emotions and creates space for personal stories.
