Advance sales for the 2025/2026 theater season: Be there!
On June 16, 2025 the time has come: advance sales for the new 2025/2026 theater season at the Ulm Theater begin. There is great anticipation of a varied program, as the coming season promises exciting entertainment for all theater lovers with numerous premieres and revivals.
The premiere performance of “Oleanna” forms the centerpiece of the opening, which will be shown at the University of Ulm. Further highlights include the revivals of “Aquarium 85” and the gastronomic satire “Mordshunger. Confessions of a Restaurant Critic”, which will be performed in the podium and in the Café Stadthaus. In particular, the new production of Dea Loher's "The Last Fire" in the Big House and the children's play "Colorful Fish Everywhere" for younger viewers round off the program. Visitors can also look forward to a premiere in the dance theater: Annett Göhre's choreography for “Giselle” promises a very special experience.

Advance sales for the Third Theater Ball, which will take place on February 14, 2026, will also start on June 16th. This spectacular event promises festive hours, with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the City of Ulm and the Rambald Bellmann Orchestra, which, together with Madchick of Soul, will ensure an exuberant atmosphere. The program also includes culinary surprises that make the ball an unforgettable experience.
The return of the spectators
The theater scene has experienced some challenges in recent years, but the return of audiences after the crises is impressive. The number of events increased by a remarkable 15% compared to previous years, and the number of visits even increased by 64%, totaling 22.4 million visits to theaters and orchestras. This trend shows that people have a need for culture and community, even in times of energy crises and geopolitical challenges explains the stage club.
The first tickets can be purchased now - a good opportunity to secure the best seats. The Ulm Theater will be closed during the summer break from July 19th to August 31st. From September 1st, the theater box office will open its doors regularly again, and then the wait for the new season will almost be over. Theater lovers, mark this day in your calendar!
