Mühldorf celebrates: Old Town Festival delights with 30,000 visitors!

The Mühldorf Old Town Festival drew an impressive conclusion on June 28, 2025 in brilliant summer weather. According to innsalzach24.de, the police counted over 30,000 visitors who had a great time at temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius and a pleasant 28 degrees at night. The positive response to the colorful program was reflected not only in the high number of visitors, but also in the successful cooperation between the police, cultural office and public order office, which ensured everything ran smoothly.

The festival offered something for every age group. There was a children's area at Haberkasten for the youngest children, where magic clowns, face painting, bungee jumping and a bicycle course provided great fun. Numerous performances, such as the performances by Win Do Kwang Taekwondo and rhythmic gymnastics by TSV Mühldorf, were also well received. 12 bands and 2 DJs heated up the audience on six stages - the most popular stage was in front of the town hall, which featured a Bayern3 band. As per tradition, the Altmühldorf brass band and the Austro-pop band Ö3 Akustik also entertained the guests. New this year was the “MeiVerein-Mundart-Bühne” at Altöttinger Tor, which also aroused great interest, as ovb-online.de reports.

Security situation and incidents

The police's overall assessment was positive: no major problems were reported and the security services ensured that everything remained peaceful. However, there were some minor incidents - such as a physical altercation between a 33-year-old and a 25-year-old that took place at 11 p.m. The 25-year-old suffered facial injuries and was treated by emergency services. The police recorded the incident and the accused must now answer to the public prosecutor. A total of nine road users were warned for parking violations, but there were no complaints during the personal and youth protection checks, as innsalzach24.de reported.

Mayor Michael Hetzl was pleased with how peaceful the festival went and thanked the organizations involved, such as the fire department and the BRK Mühldorf, for their great cooperation. The Old Town Festival has once again proven that it has not only become a popular tradition in Mühldorf, but also offers an important opportunity to celebrate the community and share joy.

In summary, it can be said that the Mühldorf Old Town Festival was a complete success and everyone involved can look forward to the upcoming event with a smile.
