Memmingen Indians celebrate a landslide victory and take the lead in the table!
What an exciting evening for the ECDC Memmingen Indians! On November 1, 2025, the team showed an impressive performance by defeating SC Riessersee 9-2 and thus securing the lead in the table. This outstanding result is the result of dominance that was evident throughout the entire 60 minutes of the game. The Memmingen players showed that they have a good hand and want to keep the season going positively.
The match started relatively evenly, with SC Riessersee initially able to keep up. But in the 9th minute, Tyler Spurgeon equalized after an early deficit to make it 1-1. Fueled by the fans and a solid team performance, Nikita Krymskiy gave the Indians the lead just a minute later. From then on it was an exhibition run for the Memmingen team, who moved ahead to 5-1 in the middle section thanks to goals from Felix Brassard and Markus Lillich, before SC Riessersee made it 2-5 shortly before the second break.
A celebration for the fans
In the final period, the Memmingen team stepped up their game again, scoring four more goals and ending the game with a clear 9:2. The players Eddy Homjakovs, Dominik Meisinger and again Tyler Spurgeon shone and made a decisive contribution to the success. It was particularly pleasing that all of the Memmingen team's players recorded at least one scorer point, which underlines the team chemistry and cohesion. The penalty minutes were also clearly in favor of the hosts with 10 for Riessersee and only 2 for Memmingen.
There is also a reason for the fans to celebrate: the next home game against Deggendorfer SC is scheduled for Sunday, November 3rd. The hall opens at 2 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. spectators can enjoy the KUTTER family day. The Teddy Bear Toss will also take place at the same time to benefit children in need, where spectators are invited to throw teddy bears onto the field.
