From November 4th to 9th, the city will be the scene of exciting duels in which not only the men but also the women will show off their skills on the ice. As part of this tournament, sports fanatics can watch all games live and for free on MagentaSport, which provides additional excitement.
But what can we expect from this tournament? The men's team of the German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB) competes against Austria, Latvia and Slovakia. National coach Harry Kreis has now published his squad, which consists of three goalkeepers, eight defenders and 14 strikers. Most of the players come from the clubs in Mannheim, Munich and Straubing, where six players will each be on the ice.

As expected, there are some absences: The Berliner Eisbären are not represented due to injured players and the double burden of the DEL and Champions Hockey League. Coach Serge Aubin has withdrawn from the squad for personal reasons.
