Techno festival Apo'Xeo: celebration, dancing and sustainability in Landsberg!

The techno festival “Apo’Xeo” created a great atmosphere and a lot of movement last weekend on the grounds of the Landsberg Lech Atelier. For the third time, the Blossomzeit collective transformed the area into a pulsating dance floor that combined creativity and community. With the motto “Danceable, surprising, diverse”, the event was a resounding success and attracted numerous young visitors from the district and the surrounding area. What was particularly pleasing was the wonderful weather, which encouraged revelers to travel to the festival site by car, taxi, bicycle or on foot.

The event spanned two days and ended late at night. Over 950 guests were accommodated on the site and were able to enjoy an impressive light and laser show. At the heart of the festival was the self-built stage, on which both international artists and local talent presented their skills. Leon Rasenberger, a DJ and enthusiastic visitor, highlighted the importance of the event for the community and emphasized how important such events are for togetherness.

Art and diversity in focus

But “Apo’Xeo” was more than just a dance festival. Artful installations and mysterious details created a magical atmosphere that could sparkle with colorful lights during the day and transform into a vibrant oasis at night. Marija Icanovic from “DIY zeitlos” and Laura Scherff from “Art Club” had stands for the first time and expanded the creative offering. In particular, the “Magic Forest” retreat with comfortable seating and hammocks offered visitors the opportunity to recover from the hustle and bustle of the festival.

The Bloom Time Collective also ensured that residents did not suffer from noise pollution. A sophisticated noise protection concept was implemented in advance, which cost around 10,000 euros and contributed to the total expenditure of around 65,000 euros. Last year there were over 20 complaints about disturbing the peace, but this time there were only two. Residents even reported that the music was barely audible, showing that the concept was working. There were also no parking problems on the side streets, so the event went off without a hitch.

Community and engagement

Around 75 volunteers supported the eight-person core team of the Blumezeit collective and worked at the bar and at the food stalls. Their valuable support contributed significantly to the success of the festival. The team had a good hand in planning and implementing, which meant that guests could enjoy an unforgettable experience.

Ticket sales were already limited, with advice to book early to secure a spot. A colorful line-up and exciting details ensured that both art and culture enthusiasts got their money's worth. “Apo’Xeo” showed once again that the combination of dance, music and art is an important part of the culture in the region. The festival's contribution to the community and the positive response from visitors give hope that it will be repeated next year.

As the Augsburger Allgemeine reports, the festival is a great example of a successful celebration that puts local culture and people's togetherness in the spotlight. Also on Xceed the event is described as a wonderful opportunity to experience the diversity of art and music and to make new acquaintances.
