Lars Grözinger remains loyal to HCL: A leading player for the Bayernliga!

The ice hockey season for HC Landsberg is taking shape. The 32-year-old striker Lars Grözinger has extended his contract for the coming Bayernliga season and remains a mainstay in the Riverkings team. Grözinger is going into his third season with the HCL and caused quite a stir last season: with 63 points in 59 games, he was one of the team's best scorers and the second best in his league with 45 scorer points in 36 games, like that Mercury reported.

Grözinger is more than just a top performer; He is also considered a leading player whose experience from the DEL2 and the Oberliga is invaluable for the young team. “I am looking forward to passing on my experience to the younger players and would like to prepare intensively for the new season,” he said. Frantisek Wagner was voted best player of the year and scored an impressive 49 points. HCL head coach Martin Hoffmann was also pleased to receive an award: He was voted the second best coach in the Bayernliga. According to HCL President Frank Kurz, the team's hard work is largely responsible for their strong performance in recent years.

Another bright spot is Lukas Hess, who was named “Rookie of the Year” with 34 scorer points. It turns out that every position at HC Landsberg is supported and the team is on an exciting growth path.
