Characterized by a mix of radiant faces and a happy laugh, the magical journey through the traditions and customs of the youth began.

But how did the dancel festival actually come? The roots go far back. The earliest documentation of the festival comes from Johann Georg Steudle, who reported in 1805 at the instigation of the Kaufbeurer city commissioner Michael von Weber about the course of the festival in the 18th century.
