Founder's Prize Ingolstadt 2026: KUS as a strong new partner!

Things are happening in Ingolstadt! This year's start of the... Founder's Prize Ingolstadt (GPI) took place in the start-up center and brought together more than 120 young entrepreneurs and representatives from the Pfaffenhofen district. An exciting event that not only marked the starting signal for the application for the 2026 prize on November 5, 2025, but also marked the 15th anniversary of the competition.

The evening opened with a keynote speech by the well-known speaker Gero Gode, followed by an introduction by Dr. Andrea Funk, who outlined the goals of the GPI. The participants had the opportunity to actively participate in four practical workshops on topics such as “Corporate meets startups” and “Healthy start-ups”. Workshops that were not only informative but also interactive!

New partner and exciting network

The collaboration with the municipal company Structural Development District Pfaffenhofen a.d. is also pleasing. Ilm (KUS), which has been an official partner since this year. KUS board member Johannes Hofner signed a new partnership for the start-up network “starTen”, which was presented by Alexandra Kröner (Ingolstadt Economic Development) and Jörg Tiedt (Sparkasse Ingolstadt-Eichstätt). A great step that should strengthen and promote the founder network.

Anyone interested in the Ingolstadt Founder's Prize 2026 should mark the date March 31, 2026 in their calendar. Until then, founders and start-ups can apply. Further details are available from the KUS founding team or on their website.

Such commitment is not only important for the start-up scene, but also promotes regional cohesion and celebrates innovative ideas. It will be exciting to see which creative minds will take part in the GPI this year!

With a breath of fresh air and motivated founders, the region is ideally positioned to continue to act as an innovation driver in the future. Let's stay tuned!

Additional technical information about current Microsoft products and their use was also published on November 5, 2025, but this is not related to current activities around the GPI and is of a more administrative nature. You can find out more about this on the website of Office.

While the startup platform is flourishing in Ingolstadt, other cities such as Tokyo also have their own infrastructure issues.
