Haßberge district gets pedalling: Take part in CITY CYCLING 2025!
The Haßberge district is going into the next round of the CITY CYCLING competition and is calling on all bicycle enthusiasts to pedal from June 30th to July 20th, 2025. This campaign not only focuses on sporting activity, but also on the positive environmental impact that switching to cycling brings with it. During the period of 21 days, it is important to cover everyday journeys by bike in as climate-friendly a way as possible and to avoid using the car. This initiative aims to increase the quality of life and reduce CO2 emissions, as hassberge.de reports.
Anyone who owns a bike can take part, and it doesn't matter whether the kilometers ridden are for leisure purposes or for commuting to work. It is particularly important to pay attention to your own health, especially at high temperatures. One of the highlights of the event will be the “Star Voyage”, which will take place on July 19, 2025. The participants of the rally will gather at 12:00 p.m. at the entrance to the sports grounds in Eltmann (Bamberger Straße 21, 97483 Eltmann) before heading together to Eltmann. This opportunity not only offers a sporting challenge, but also the opportunity to network with like-minded people and have fun.
Participation and registration
Registration for CITY CYCLING takes place via the official website, where information on participation is also provided. As stadtradeln.de adds, the municipalities receive many hundreds of registrations in the first few weeks, which is why there may be delays in activation. Participants should be patient until their municipality is activated, as registration is only possible afterwards.
