In the current ranking of the advice magazine Focus-Gesundheit, the Günzburg District Hospital (BKH) achieved an impressive place in the list of the best German hospitals. Together with the BKH Augsburg, Günzburg was included in the 2026 clinic list, which honors top healthcare providers. This is an important success for the two clinics, which have made a name for themselves through their specialized treatment offerings.
The BKH Augsburg, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Alkomiet Hasan is particularly known for his expertise in the treatment of mental illnesses such as depression, dementia, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders.
