Felix Neureuther: Over a million euros for children and the environment!

What a beautiful day for a good cause! Felix Neureuther, the former world-class ski racer and father of three, shows that even after his active career, his passion for social projects remains unbroken. With the founding of the Felix Neureuther Foundation In 2020 he fulfilled a big dream: to raise awareness among children and young people about the topics of exercise and environmental protection.

An impressive 305,000 euros were collected at the latest charity golf tournament, the “5th Felix & Friends Invitational”, which took place at the Beuerberg e.V. golf club. This brings the total amount of donations already generated by the tournament series to an impressive 1,205,000 euros. The money collected flows into projects for child health, promoting physical activity and environmental protection, where they are urgently needed.

A strong commitment to nature

Neureuther knows how to emphasize the importance of exercise and nature for the next generation. As part of his foundation, the “Move smart!” program will be promoted until the end of 2026 as well as the “Nature Heroes” project, which will be implemented in over 500 schools nationwide. The goal? To sensitize children to the effects of waste in nature, because a whopping 300,000 tons of waste end up in nature every year - an alarming number!

The latest golf event attracted prominent faces, including soccer star Thomas Müller, model Franziska Knuppe and the band Revolverheld. Robert Lübenoff, board member of the foundation, praised the commitment of the supporters, which makes a significant difference to the projects.

An event full of highlights

In 2024, Golf charity tournament An even higher amount was reached: 350,500 euros were raised for the benefit of the foundation and the environmental protection project “Naturhelden”. The event, which attracted 112 participants, including many celebrities such as Christian Neureuther and Claudio Pizarro, was a complete success. Felix auctioned off a ski tour for a whopping 25,000 euros, and the event was hosted by Wolfram Kons.

Alexander Winkler and his team took care of the culinary catering, while the evening event was rounded off with a change of costume and musical performances by artists from the show “The Voice of Germany”. Thomas Müller and other prominent participants also expressed themselves positively about the initiative and the community spirit that Neureuther puts at the forefront.

But the work is far from finished. The “Nature Heroes” project aims to promote nature-related lessons in 500 schools nationwide and thus reach around 50,000 children. At a time when environmental protection and health are becoming increasingly important, Felix Neureuther's commitment is a ray of hope for many young people.

With his foundation, Neureuther is making a strong statement. The next challenges are already waiting, but with such a committed community at his side, he is sure to do good business for the future of our children and our nature.
