A dramatic incident occurred on Sunday evening, November 9th, 2025, in the Bruck district of Erlangen. A 43-year-old man was shot in the face while meeting two other men in a wooded area. The injured person called the emergency number at 5:45 p.m. and informed the police about the shooting attack. She found him on Eggenreuther Weg with a serious facial injury in Franconia reported.
The immediately alerted police forces quickly took command and administered first aid before the injured man was taken to hospital.
