It is November 14, 2025 and today's police report from Erlangen and the Herzogenaurach district brings some notable incidents to light. In Obere Gasse, a stone wall was damaged by an unknown road user, with the damage estimated at around 200 euros. The police are asking for information about who caused the accident, which can be received by calling 09132/78090.
Another incident occurred on Auracher Bergstrasse, where a 27-year-old Indian driver tested positive for alcohol during a traffic stop. The police stopped the driver from continuing to drive and filed a report after a breath alcohol test that could be used in court.
Accident at work in Gremsdorf
There was a serious industrial accident in Gremsdorf at 2:40 p.m. During construction work on a single-family home, a 38-year-old worker fell through a chipboard ceiling and fell three meters into the depths. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but according to initial information, his life was not in danger.
It remains to be seen whether dynamic construction projects in the region will now come to a halt. However, one thing is certain: safety in the workplace is an issue that should be given top priority - there is something to be said for it.
