Family business Huber Technik celebrates 100 years and handover to daughters!
Last weekend a big anniversary was celebrated in Erding: the company Huber technology celebrated its 100th anniversary with a festive celebration that included both an open day and a special evening. Over 600 guests, including the entire workforce as well as numerous prominent faces from politics and business, came to the celebration and enjoyed the unique atmosphere.
In the official part of the event, the parents, Paul Kamm and Heidi Huber-Kamm, ceremoniously handed over the management of the company into the hands of their daughters Veronika and Johanna. The emotional moment was acknowledged with minutes of applause from the guests, and even Heidi Huber-Kamm was still moved by the audience's reaction the next day.
Insight into the company's history
The celebrations began in the festively decorated marquee and were introduced by a film about the company's eventful history. Huber Technik has specialized in the construction of conveyor systems for over 60 years and is known for its individual advice and planning using the latest 3D CAD drawings. The company now has 110 employees from 16 different nations and is known worldwide for its high-quality rubber and metal products, which are manufactured using traditional craftsmanship and modern materials science.
Operations manager Thomas Vilgertshofer praised the family atmosphere and emphasized the reliability of the new owners. Veronika Kamm also spoke about the importance of well-trained employees for the future of the company. This focus on training and team spirit is reflected not only internally, but also in the connection with customers, who are always in the best hands with Huber Technik “with a good hand”.
Attractions for young and old
A special attraction of the open day was a ride on the “Air Emotion” flying crane, which gave guests an impressive view of Erding from a height of 40 meters. These activities offered a great opportunity to learn more about the production process of conveyor belts, stable floor coverings and small rubber parts, which visibly impressed the visitors. Huber Technik also regularly presents the work processes in production and offers company tours to provide a closer insight into the production of rubber items.
Prominent guests of honor, including State Minister Ulrike Scharf and Mayor Max Gotz, recalled the company's success story and the close connection to the region in their speeches. Bavaria's Economics Minister Hubert Aiwanger and other politicians also sent their congratulations on the anniversary in emotional video messages.
With a solid foundation in the past and the hard work of the new generation, Huber Technik shows that Brunz'n will continue to provide a breath of fresh air in the future. Under the motto “Family business with tradition and vision,” Huber Technik is looking optimistically into the next decade.
