Construction site S2: Nights full of restrictions between Erding and Markt Schwaben!
In these hot summer days, a different, less pleasant face appears on the S2 railway line between Markt Schwaben and Erding. From July 1st up to and including July 24th, 2025, passengers must expect restrictions. Deutsche Bahn is carrying out extensive deep drainage and bridge testing work. Road closures and replacement traffic
During this work, the route between Markt Schwaben and Erding will not only be closed to train traffic, but a replacement rail service with buses will also be set up. This means that passengers must make sure to check the departure times of the buses in Erding in good time so as not to miss the connection to the S-Bahn in Markt Schwaben.
