Something is happening in Deggendorf! Every first Saturday of the month, both locals and guests can look forward to exciting city tours. These entertaining exploration tours through the Danube city not only offer a look at the city's impressive history, but also at mysterious places. Anyone who has always wanted to climb the historic town hall tower can also do so as part of these guided tours and enjoy a wonderful view. As the city of Deggendorf informs, the next dates are on July 5th, August 2nd and September 6th, each at 11:00 a.m., the meeting point is the Old Town Hall. The price? A fair contribution of just €5 per person.
It's not just the city tours that are a hit! From autumn 2023, the offer will be enriched with exciting mushroom and herb tours. Here, anyone interested can find out everything about edible mushrooms, from searching tips to the best places to collect them. The herbal tour promises to introduce you to the local plants and their healing powers. An exciting interaction with nature that is both educational and enjoyable!
Registration made easy
If you are interested in one of the tours, you can easily register at the Tourist Information. Registration can be done in person at the Old Town Hall or by email Tourismus@deggendorf.de or by phone at 0991-2960535. So nothing stands in the way of an entertaining day in the city that is suitable for locals and guests alike.
Details about the tours
The upcoming dates for the mushroom tours are currently scheduled for September 21st and October 12th, while the herbal tours will take place on September 12th and October 16th. The exact times and locations have yet to be announced, but anticipation is already building!
