ASV Volleys bring volleyball talent Will Kuhns – what fans can expect!

The ASV Volleys recently signed a new player who is supposed to bring a breath of fresh air into the team: Will Kuhns. The talented outside attacker comes straight from Penn State University and is not only an athletic ace, but also a real high-flyer in the academic world. Coach Patrick Steuerwald is sure that Kuhns is the right choice and was immediately convinced after a phone call with him. Volleyball player reports that The 1.90 meter tall, 24-year-old American not only shines with his athletic abilities, but also has a positive charisma.

Kuhns has set standards in his college career not only on the field, but also academically. In 2023 he received the NCAA Elite 90 Award, a prize for the best grade point average among all participants in the National Collegiate Tournament. He was also named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar several times and was named to the Academic All-Big Ten and EIVA All-Academic teams. These academic successes speak for his ambition and discipline, both in sport and in his studies. Experiences on and off the field

Will Kuhns brings impressive experience, having been a captain at Penn State and playing both offense and defense. Last season he played in 68 sets over 25 games, recorded 68 kills and collected 45 digs as well as 11 blocks and 4 aces. He delivered a particularly outstanding performance with 12 kills and 4 digs in a match against Fairleigh Dickinson.
