Early on Saturday evening (August 30, 2025), a 25-year-old man was stopped by the police on the B300 near Gessertshausen when he was driving in a serpentine line under the influence of alcohol. An attentive witness alerted the officers, who arrived at the scene around 11 p.m. A breath alcohol test showed a level of almost 0.7 per mille - so the driver was well over the limit!
The police acted immediately and prevented the man from driving further. His car keys were confiscated and a blood test was ordered. On top of that, his driving license was temporarily revoked. The drunk driving investigation is ongoing!
