Culture Promotion Prize 2025: Amberg honors outstanding artists!
On July 10, 2025, a special event will take place in the Amberg City Theater: the 8th awarding of the "City of Amberg City Cultural Promotion Prize". At 7 p.m. it will be time for honors who appreciate the extraordinary achievements in the areas of visual and performing art, music, literature and film. This award, which has had a permanent place in Amberg's cultural life since its introduction in 2011, is endowed with a total of 6,000 euros, whereby half the financing is taken over by the city of Amberg and the other half by Siemens AG.
Mayor Michael Cerny will be present at the celebration to honor the award winners. The jury, who made the selection of the winners, consists of representatives of the city of Amberg, cultural experts and representatives of Siemens AG.
